The world-famous youtuber PewDiePie announced its support for the online game Wallem, available for free on iOS and Android.

The game was released in an alpha version as early as 2018, and at that time it was only about cryptocurrency. Since then it has been further developed, with a more modern graphic design and a more attractive AR system.

It is now based on a 3D map and the latest generation of Augmented Reality engine, which can control users‘ actions in real time as in the famous Pokémon GO game.

By navigating its 3D map around the world, users can participate in events, capture brand points or Bitcoin Investor, and use them to purchase various products and services.

The first two events involve big Italian names like Armani and Motta and allow users to win a watch and/or €50 in PlayStation games.

The brand points that can be collected in the game are actually ERC-20 tokens called PTERIA, based on the Ethereum blockchain.

These tokens are issued by a third party, a DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) of the same name, and are in fact functional token utilities for gaming platforms.

Wallem is the first game that can use PTERIA tokens, but more will be announced in the future.

Moreover, the skins used in the game are NFT (Non Fungible Tokens) based on the Ethereum standard ERC721: whoever buys them will earn 10% of all other players‘ activities. For example, by purchasing the NFT of PewDiePiePie you will earn 10% of all the PTERIA tokens or other tokens that will be captured by users who use that same skin during the game.

Wallem also has its own first basic line of merchandising, for sale on TheCryptoMerch.
